We are excited to announce that the third annual Environmental Communication Event, organized by the TWG Environmental Communication , will be held on September 25th, 2025, at Ghent University. This one-day event promises to be an enriching opportunity to learn about the latest research, network with peers, and build professional relationships within the field of environmental communication.

We invite NeFCA researchers in the area of Environmental Communication to attend and present their work. During the event, participants will establish synergies and reflect on communication approaches around sustainability and climate change in a workshop format, preceded by keynote presentations. As part of the registration, participants will include a short description of your research interests related to environmental communication (maximum 100 words including explaining the main area of research and some keywords). Registration will close on June 27th, 2025.
This event is highly relevant for the TWG of Environmental communication as it promotes and maintains collaboration among all researchers affiliated with this group. By bringing together a diverse group of researchers, the event aims to strengthen the community of environmental communication scholars and practitioners, contributing to the advancement of the field. Especially as TWG, and building on the success we have had in the previous Etmaal and Environmental Communication events, this year’s event will continue to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and the dissemination of cutting-edge research.

Note: Based on the short description all participants will be split into groups of research interest. Further details about the format of the presentations will be provided closer to the event.
