The urgency of climate change and environmental threats necessitates effective communication. Environmental communication is therefore crucial for disseminating accurate information and driving impactful change by engaging diverse stakeholders. To offer an opportunity for environmental communication scientists and practitioners to gather in person, share insights, and strengthen connections, we are organizing the 2024 Environmental Communication Event.
Highlights:
- Invited keynote addresses, workshops, and roundtables (featuring confirmed speakers such as dr. James Painter, dr. Nadine Strauss, and dr. Joshua Ettinger).
- Paper sessions and panel discussions on emerging trends in Environmental Communication.
- Opportunities for informal networking and socializing.
Contributions:
We invite a range of contributions to the program, including paper presentations, workshops, roundtables, or other formats. Submissions on ongoing research at different stages (e.g., work in progress, recently conducted studies, or overviews of broader research topics) are welcome. All proposals require an abstract of max. 500 words (excluding references).
