On May 6, the first edition of ‘Hands-On Digital’ took place, organized by CEPEC (Ghent University) and the persuasive division of NeFCA. It was a very inspiring day filled with sessions on the latest trends in digital marketing. More than 340 students, practitioners and researchers had the unique opportunity to interact with practitioners and international researchers who are working on the topic of digital marketing.
Keynote speakers of this event were Jan Algoed (Dallas), Ynzo van Zanten (Tony’s Chocolonely), Jeroen Coeymans (SBS), Justina Raizyte (EASA), Camille Depuyt (Coolblue), and Karl Gilis (AGConsult). Moreover, several PhD students from University of Amsterdam, Antwerp University and Ghent University presented their insights into digital marketing research. In advance, they had the opportunity to participate in a workshop on science communication, in which they received tips to present their work to a non-academic audience.
