Because research in the HMC-field becomes increasingly complex, and involves several challenges, especially regarding ethical and privacy-related considerations, the HMC-division at NeFCA organized a workshop at the 2024 edition of the Etmaal van de Communicatiewetenschap on the 9th of February.
In this workshop, we aimed to collect input from our community about the challenges frequently faced in research on physical embodied robots, chatbots, applications integrating Large Language Models, and co. Where available, we also wanted to collect ideas for possible solutions to overcome these challenges and identify ways forward.
